Updated Children's Literature Library Available for All Early Childhood Students

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide important resources for members of the Early Childhood Club, as well as all students who are either Early Childhood or Educational Studies majors, we are pleased to announce that a large collection of children's books is available for students to use in Room V117.

A number of courses require students to use quality children's literature in their assignments, such as HUM 81, EDC 28, EDC 30, EDC 91, and EDC 93. We have over 100 children's books, many of them award-winners, in our library. Students must check in with Cecilia in room V116 before visiting the library. Once you have checked in, you will be permitted to peruse the entire collection for as long as you would like. You may then choose up to five books to check out, and books may be borrowed for up to two weeks.

The Early Childhood Club donated a substantial number of these books to the ECE Program several years ago, after hosting a Scholastic Book Fair at KCC. Cecilia has organized the books alphabetically by title, to make it easy for you to make your selections.
