Brooklyn Reading Council Conference to be Held at Kingsborough...Discount for Students!

The local chapter of the International Reading Association (The Brooklyn Reading Council) is having its annual conference on Friday, February 4th from 8am to 3pm in the MAC Center at KCC. There will be guest speakers and many valuable workshops to choose from! Topics include: teaching reading; multicultural children's literature; and many others. The discounted price for full-time students is only $15 for the entire day of events, and includes a free continental breakfast and lunch.

The club will be attending, and all ECE students are welcome to join us. Registration forms are available on the bulletin board in V115. YOU MUST INCLUDE A PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR STUDENT I.D. WITH THE REGISTRATION FORM in order to get the student discount. The deadline to mail in your form & fee is January 25th, so hurry!
