Club To Sponsor Food Drive For City Harvest

The Early Childhood Club is collecting donations of canned goods (soups, stews, tuna, vegetables, coffee) and other non-perishable food items (pasta, rice, crackers, peanut butter, teas, instant drinks, juice boxes, etc.) to be given to City Harvest, a well-known charity which distributes food to homeless shelters and food pantries across the five boroughs.

Beginning Tuesday, October 25, there will be a collection box in the ECE Program Office, V116, where you can leave your donations. Our aim is to collect 50 pounds of food by November 23, when City Harvest will come to KCC to pick up our donations in time for Thanksgiving. With your support, we can reach or even surpass this goal!

For further information please see the club's faculty advisor, Nancy Leggio, in room V115.
